Senior Grants Writer
JoAnn D. Murchison joins the Wacif organization with extensive training and experience in community outreach, business development and fundraising. Her multi-industry career includes public relations and marketing, real estate development, non-profit fundraising, and event management. Over the last several years she has worked with national and local non-profit organizations including the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and Goodwill Industries, in each case focusing on community engagement, fundraising, program development and services.
JoAnn has been instrumental in building strong relationships with corporations, federal, state and local governments, and community-based organizations to raise awareness and secure funding for programs and services through sponsorships and grant funding. She strives to use trends and strategic planning to inform organizational progress and measurable community impact.
Ms. Murchison enjoys cooking, volunteering, and spending time with her family and her Yorkie Rosco.
