HubSpot Administrator and CRM Data Analyst
Florence is a social entrepreneur, educator, and data nerd, who feels passionately about bringing communities together to create social impact. She currently serves as the Social Impact Analyst at Wacif, where she is responsible for measuring the organization’s impact in building equity and opportunity throughout the Washington metropolitan area. She manages programmatic impact, devises strategy, and shapes impact narrative – positioning Wacif as an industry leader for the future. For the past 10 years, Florence has been involved in the social impact, community organizing, and education space.
Her prior work experience includes serving as Programs Manager for LearnServe International (overseeing entrepreneurship and leadership training for over 200 young changemakers a year), acting as the Curriculum Specialist for the Detroit Entrepreneurship Network (designing entrepreneurship mentorship programs for high school students), and teaching literacy in Detroit Public Schools. She has also started her own social ventures, including a concert series to benefit Detroit musicians, designing a college prep workshop for low-income high school students, and organizing a community of 60+ Michigan residents to attend the Women’s March on Washington in 2017. She is a global citizen, having been raised in Belgium, France, England, Egypt, & the USA, as well as studying in Havana, Cuba.
She earned her BA from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) in Organizational Studies, a degree that taught her to precisely examine the ways in which organizations can be most effective in achieving their goals, with a minor in Social Work, and a focus in Entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, she was awarded the ‘Jordan M. Harris Social Justice Award’, the department’s top social justice honor.
