Kara Sparing

Kara Sparling (pronouns: she/her) is Wacif’s Program Coordinator.  Kara is a program, events, and grants management professional with a background in international development, patron services, and technical theater.  Before joining Wacif she worked as a Grants Officer on the Latin America and Caribbean portfolio at the National Endowment for Democracy, supporting civil society organizations in Central and South America.  She earned a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.  Kara also served in the Peace Corps in Panama (English as a Foreign Language and Youth Development).  Outside of work Kara loves going to the theater and traveling.
