Hannah is a small business professional with over a decade of experience working with and within small businesses. After earning her degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, she launched her own specialty food business. Though she eventually closed the business for personal reasons, the experience gave her hands-on insight into the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship – and led her to the world of community development finance.
That path brought her to the Community Investment Collaborative, a nonprofit CDFI in Central Virginia, where she spent two and a half years as Operations Manager and later as Loan Officer. What started as simply helping out with loan processing quickly sparked a passion for supporting entrepreneurs through access to capital. After completing additional coursework, certifications and countless hours of small business advising, Hannah is excited to bring her experience to Wacif and to continue growing in the small business lending space.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Hannah training for triathlons, cooking up something new in the kitchen, planning her next trip, or playing violin on the pedestrian mall in her hometown of Charlottesville. She’s always up for a new challenge and finds joy in staying curious, active and connected.”
