I recently had the chance to sit in on a session with our latest beauty maker cohort—and what stood out immediately was the heart each entrepreneur brought into the room. They opened up about the personal stories and purpose behind their brands, sharing not just what they created, but why they created it. In the short time I spent with them, it was clear how much they cared—not just about launching a business, but about getting it right.
They spoke passionately about the journey: the lessons learned, the risks taken, the joy of seeing a vision begin to take shape. And they were excited to have me try their products—whether it was a new mosquito repellent made with safe, natural ingredients or a body butter that left my hands moisturized and renewed. I left feeling inspired and eager to support their growing businesses.
Meet the Entrepreneurs Shaping the Future of Beauty
Throughout the program, each session offered valuable insights—whether it was diving into the science of product formulation, exploring pricing strategies, or sharpening marketing and branding skills. Participants also emphasized how eye-opening it was to uncover the power of networks and the wide range of resources available to support their growth. The cohort was more than just a learning experience—it became a space for discovery, clarity, and community.
Rooted in Purpose, Built with Intention
Every entrepreneur in this cohort came with a vision rooted in something deeply personal. One launched a brand inspired by a love of the outdoors, creating products from ingredients indigenous to Peru to encourage responsible exploration of nature. Another began the journey as a new parent seeking to maintain a strong sense of identity, using the brand to model self-worth for the next generation.
Some started during the early days of the pandemic—one seeking a purposeful career that brings confidence and joy to others, another focused on delivering affordable, clean beauty products to a wider audience. For others, personal experiences with skin allergies and dryness fueled the creation of products designed to heal and protect. One entrepreneur built a skincare line inspired by early aspirations to become a dermatologist, while another took a unique approach to skin wellness by launching a line of natural mosquito repellents.
What resonated most during our conversation was the depth of care and intention behind each product. Yes, these entrepreneurs want to build strong brands—but more than that, they’re committed to creating high-quality, meaningful products that reflect their values, their communities, and the experiences that led them to this moment.
Growth from the Inside Out
Beyond the technical skills, the cohort sparked meaningful personal growth. Entrepreneurs shared that they now feel more confident setting price points, clearer in their mission, and more grounded in their identity as business owners. For many, this was a powerful reminder to take up space, trust their instincts, and own the value they bring to their communities.
This cohort reflected what’s possible when innovation is paired with intention. We’re proud to support these entrepreneurs as they continue building brands that are as thoughtful as they are bold—and we look forward to what’s next.
Stay tuned as we continue to highlight the incredible small business owners in our network—and support the next wave of purpose-driven entrepreneurs.
