Ascend

Empowering Underinvested Entrepreneurs with Lasting Results

Ascend is more than a program—it’s a launchpad for underinvested entrepreneurs. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and a supportive network, we help small business owners build resilience, unlock growth opportunities, and create lasting impact in their communities.

Overview

Launched in 2017, the Ascend Capital Accelerator program provides entrepreneurs with the ability to accelerate business growth, receive financial and management training, and access affordable loan capital. This hands-on development program consists of an interactive workshop series combined with small group matching and individualized support to build human and financial assets with local small businesses.

The program bridges the gap between the small business ecosystem and programs available to assist non-tech, high-growth entrepreneurs seeking to grow their ventures.
