Anuvi Aquino serves as Operations Coordinator at WACIF, where she supports organizational operations, technology management, process optimization, and cross-functional initiatives that advance the organization’s mission. She plays a key role in strengthening internal systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting staff through effective coordination, resource management, and continuous process improvement.
Anuvi brings more than a decade of experience spanning operations, program management, training and technical assistance, case management, education, compliance, and customer service. Throughout her career, she has successfully led initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, streamline processes, and strengthen service delivery across diverse sectors.
Prior to joining WACIF, Anuvi provided training and technical assistance coordination for more than 25 subrecipient organizations nationwide, supporting program implementation, compliance, and capacity-building efforts. She also oversaw one of the largest Home Study and Post-Release Services programs within her organization, managing complex case operations and supporting the well-being of hundreds of children and families. Earlier in her career, she supervised large caseloads in case management and developed systems to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Anuvi’s leadership experience also includes building and managing a Client Services Call Center department from the ground up for a telecommunications company, where she established processes, performance standards, and customer service protocols that enhanced operational effectiveness. In the education sector, she developed innovative grading and performance-tracking systems and successfully led teams of foreign language educators in implementing streamlined processes and achieving high standards of instructional excellence.
An entrepreneur at heart, Anuvi founded Curly Suly Haircare Products and Salon in the Dominican Republic, building the business from concept to operation through strategic planning, product development, branding, and customer engagement. This experience further strengthened her skills in business operations, problem-solving, and organizational leadership.
As a trilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, with intermediate proficiency in French, Anuvi is passionate about fostering inclusive environments and building meaningful relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders. She is committed to organizational excellence and continuous improvement, leveraging technology, innovation, and effective processes to support sustainable growth and maximize community impact.
