WACIF Launches Refreshed Brand and Website to Better Serve Local Entrepreneurs

Washington, D.C. — WACIF (pronounced WAY-kif), formerly known as Wacif, is excited to announce the launch of its refreshed brand and updated website, designed to better reflect the professionalism, community, and mission-driven work of the Washington Area Community Investment Fund.

As part of this update, the organization has standardized its name in all caps—WACIF—to clarify that it is an acronym for the Washington Area Community Investment Fund. This change accompanies a modernized website that makes it easier for entrepreneurs and community members to navigate resources, connect with business advisors, and explore WACIF’s programs and services.

“While our look has evolved, our mission remains the same,” said Kaelyn Green, Senior Communiations Manager. “We are committed to uplifting and empowering local entrepreneurs, expanding access to capital, and building an inclusive, thriving business ecosystem. This refresh ensures that our brand reflects the dedication and professionalism we bring to our community every day.”

The new website also emphasizes the people WACIF serves, providing more visibility for entrepreneurs, community partners, and stakeholders, and creating easier ways to access support from WACIF’s team of business advisors.
