Wacif and Wells Fargo launch online video
Washington, D.C. (January 1, 2014)—What began as a radio ad grew into something much bigger Last summer Wacif was approached by Wells Fargo, our long-time partner and largest investor to record a local radio ad to highlight the shared vision of our two organizations and local impact within the DC small business community. The ad was so well received that they asked us to film an online video. What started as radio plug, eventually became our very own YouTube ad! Over the period of a few days a film crew traced our impact throughout the DC area — interviewing clients like Veronica Davis and Chancee Lundy, owners of Nspiregreen, LLC. Wacif provided Nspiregreen, a consulting firm that assists businesses, governments and nonprofits in developing sustainability goals, with a loan and line of credit, allowing them to gain contracts and grow from 2 employees to 5 in just over a year! The video was a great experience for all involved and helps us share Wacif’s mission of empowering underserved communities and the partnerships that make it all possible. Together, we continue to provide opportunity for individuals and families through growing small business and building affordable housing with access the capital that moves our communities forward.
