Harold Pettigrew will be honored as one of 40 awardees for demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region

Washington, D.C. (December 1, 2016) – The Washington Area Community Investment Fund, Inc. (Wacif) is proud to announce that Executive Director Harold Pettigrew will be recognized by Leadership Center for Excellence as a 2016 40 Under 40 award recipient. The honor recognizes trailblazers under the age of 40 for their exceptional leadership and demonstrated impact in Arlington, VA and across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

“I am truly honored to join this select group of exceptional leaders across the region” said Pettigrew. “I look forward to collaborating with fellow honorees in hopes that we can partner on opportunities to deepen our collective impact.”

Honorees will be recognized at a luncheon on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA.  The event will serve as an opportunity to showcase the honorees, and a gathering to build social and intellectual capital for the D.C. metropolitan community within this leadership group.

Leadership Center for Excellence presents 40 Under 40 in collaboration with Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Arlington Community Foundation, Arlington Economic Development and Sun Gazette.
