WACIF News and Updates
WACIF lends $1.2 Million from the Streetscape Relief Loan Fund (SRLF), a public-private partnership with the District of Columbia's Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD). The SRLF has created 25 new jobs and helped retain over 100 jobs in the District since its launch in November 2011.

WACIF has moved! We are very excited to be in a new space after 10 years. Although we will miss the Brookland neighborhood, we have not gone far. We are now located along Rhode Island Ave in the neighboring Woodridge.

On Wednesday, May 23, WACIF Executive Director joined Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Ward 1 Councilmember Jim Graham, other DC leaders and Adams Morgan business owners in celebrating the early successes of the public-private partnership between the District and WACIF, the Streetscape Loan Relief Fund (SLRF). The fund provides flexible, interest-free loans designed to minimize the impacts of streetscape projects on small businesses. Read on...
