The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia are a congregation of approximately 450 Catholic women who choose a Gospel way of life lived in community who are dedicated to serving others, especially those who are economically poor, marginal, and oppressed.

We have partnered with Wacif since 1993 and believe they have made a positive impact on improving the quality of life for numerous Washington area individuals and communities. Wacif has given witness to promoting systemic change by empowering low-income residents with access to capital, technical assistance, child care, housing and other such needs.
